Castlevania coming to vampire survival game V Rising in May

Vampire survival game V Rising will have an official collaboration with Castlevania, featuring vampire hunter Simon Belmont and a range of cosmetics inspired by the series, in May.

V Rising's Castlevania collaboration consists of two parts; The legendary vampire hunter Simon Belmont will be available as a boss fight for all players in the base game: anyone who manages to overcome his sacred arsenal and defeat him will unlock the new whip weapon, and will be accompanied by the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack DLC.

This paid cosmetic DLC lets players give their vampire castle hangouts a little Castlevania makeover with decor and ornaments inspired by the series. This includes the option to use two classic themes from the series, reimagined by V Rising composer Aleksandria Migova, as castle music. Additionally, the DLC includes new character customization options inspired by familiar Castlevania characters and a skeletal mount.

As detailed above, V Rising version 1.0 brings some major changes and additions, mainly focusing on its ending. A PS5 version is also scheduled to arrive later this year.
