This move signifies Halloween’s entry into the ever-growing realm of cinematic universes, with industry reports suggesting that the forthcoming TV show could serve as the launchpad for a sprawling universe that spans both film and television.

Marc Helwig, the Head of Global TV at Miramax, expressed his enthusiasm about this development, stating, “We are beyond thrilled to broadcast Halloween on television. We are excited to continue our long-standing and fruitful collaboration with [Trancas International Films] and the talented Malek Akkad in bringing this venerable brand to a new audience and storytelling format.”

Halloween, a franchise that first haunted the silver screen in 1978, experienced a resurgence with a recent trilogy of films directed by David Gordon Green. The trilogy, which includes “Halloween” (2018), “Halloween Kills” (2021), and “Halloween Ends” (2022), collectively raked in nearly $500 million at the global box office.
