Asked to acknowledge whether “a little friendly rivalry could be a great thing,” Pilestedt replied: “Indeed. In business too. Neither monopoly nor fierce competition makes the world a better place.”
ICYMI, two fake Helldivers 2 games appeared on Steam this week, both posing as Arrowhead's hit shooter in an attempt to scam people into buying their product. Each title included Arrowhead as its developer and PlayStation as its publisher.
As Victoria reported at the time, a message sent by the official Arrowhead Discord warned the community about these fake games, stating that the only legitimate releases were Helldivers 2 and Helldivers 2: Super Citizen Edition, with the correct release date of August 8. February.
“People posting like us trying to scam people is obviously very sad and frustrating, and for that, as well as for safety reasons, we urge you to stay away from them,” the Arrowhead community manager wrote at that moment. “Once again, the only two Helldivers 2 products we carry are Helldivers 2 and Helldivers 2 Super Citizen Edition.”
