Marc Shaiman, at the vibrant age of 63, boasts an impressive collection of awards, having secured a Tony and a Grammy for his remarkable work on the hit musical “Hairspray” and its subsequent original cast album. Additionally, he has clinched a Primetime Emmy for his exceptional contributions to the 1992 Oscar telecast, particularly for his work in the variety and music program category.
