In an exciting development, A24 has acquired the rights to adapt Hilton’s highly-anticipated 2023 memoir, “Paris: The Memoir,” into a scripted television series, securing a significant six-figure deal. Paris Hilton herself will play a pivotal role in bringing her life story to the screen.
Released in March 2023, Hilton’s memoir delves into her extraordinary journey from her rapid rise to fame in the early 2000s to the challenging experiences of her past within the troubled teen industry. The memoir offers an in-depth and honest exploration of her life.
During an interview with ET in March about the process of writing her life’s story, Hilton expressed how cathartic the experience had been: “This has been the most therapeutic experience of my life, laying it all out there. There are so many emotions and experiences that I endured and tried to forget, but putting them all on paper and sharing them has made me feel truly incredible.”
She further shared her newfound sense of empowerment: “I feel incredibly empowered after writing this book, reading about everything I went through and recognizing how resilient and brave I am. My documentary, ‘This Is Paris,’ marked the first time I was truly vulnerable and shared many aspects of my life. Over the past two and a half years, I’ve seen the impact it’s made on others, helping change laws and becoming the hero that I always needed when I was a little girl. I couldn’t be prouder.”
