Until today, the digital platform had a record of 34.2 million users, although that figure was surpassed yesterday when Steam gained 34.2 million online players.

Steam concurrent counts initially began to rise when the world began to shut down at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Stuck indoors with nothing to do but bake bread and play video games, Steam numbers began to rise , but it must be recognized that those numbers have not stopped rising, as demonstrated by today's new record.
