During a new episode on Tuesday, March 26, Kristen, 41, said she was frustrated by the way Jax, 44, kept bringing up Alex instead of giving Luke, 33, a fair chance.
“I don't understand why Jax mentioned my most recent ex: Alex,” said Kristen, who split from her ex in June 2022. “I sold my house, moved in with [Alex] and he was the real estate agent. Then we broke up seven times and he kicked me out and sold all the furniture which he wrote off.”
Despite meeting Luke the same month she and Alex broke up, Kristen knew her new relationship was different, adding: “But with Luke, we don't yell. We don't scream. Our communication is stupidly impeccable.”

Jax, however, “wasn't on the same page” as Kristen about her new man.
“I'm pretty good at spotting a Kristen Doute disaster. I could see him a mile away,” she said in a confessional. “You don't have to be a genius to see what's going to happen here. I've seen a lot of people like Luke come into Kristen's life. And when they leave, they need therapy afterwards.”
After Jax referred to Luke as Kristen's “sperm donor,” she was adamant that her friend group was more welcoming to her boyfriend. (Kristen had a miscarriage in November 2023 after filming in Valley wrapped.)
“Luke is my forever. I see it and I feel it,” she explained. “I want you guys to start treating him like he's mine forever. And he's not like he's a fucking guy. Does anyone know his last name? Does anyone know where he is from?
Jax apparently understood Kristen's point, until they broke up. From there, Jax put a plan in motion to surprise Luke at an upcoming boys' night out by inviting Alex.

“Would it be weird if I invited Alex, Kristen's ex-boyfriend, to guys' night so he and Luke could have a little get-together? Is this a bad idea?” Jax asked later. Jesse Lalley. In response, Jesse referred to Jax as “a kid,” joking: “Tom Sandoval, [why not] throw it into the mixture. He dated Kristen, right? Why don't they build a shooting gallery?
While speaking to the cameras, Jax tried to explain where he was coming from.
“I'm a little worried that Luke is going to be a rebound guy. “He dove into this relationship days after breaking up with Alex,” he said. “I'm not sure if Luke knows what he's getting into.”
Jax also talked about why he was still in contact with Alex. “Kristen has slept with almost everyone I know, including me,” he recalled of her previous relationship, which was revealed during season 2 of Vanderpump Rules. “So if she couldn't date anyone she slept with, then she wouldn't have any friends.”
Jax finally extended an invitation to both Luke and Alex. He informed Luke about the surprise guest moments before Alex joined his group.

“I had great motivation for this. I want you to be a part of this group as much as anyone. I tried to find a way we could all hang out. Where I don't have to ask, 'Who's coming to this tonight? I can't invite this person or that person. There’s only one way this can happen,” she told Luke. “You're a reasonable guy and Alex is too. Alex is a good guy and I honestly think you two would get along well. “I know it for a fact.”
Jax told Luke that he asked Alex to join them so he could get “all the right stories” about Kristen. Luke, for his part, was not excited about the prospect of meeting Alex.
“What's the point? Why would I try to be friends with my girlfriend's ex? What's the point? I'm not going to be okay with a guy like that. I'm not okay with a guy like that,” Luke responded. “Why “What would I give this guy a chance? Why should I be friends with my girlfriend's ex? I have her back 100 percent and I have no interest in meeting this guy.”
Luke continued: “Kristen told me that her ex was very difficult and that relationship still triggers her. Jax knows her triggers and how to make her scared. “I don’t think that’s something friends do to their friends.”
After Luke became visibly angry, Jax briefly realized that he had “screwed up” and said, “With Luke, I don't think he was taken by surprise. Yes, he's fine…I did it. The fact that he said that he is not going to say a word to Alex is childish.”
Jax and Alex walked away from the others to hang out alone, which eventually led to a conversation about Kristen. Jax specifically wanted more details from Alex about how he thought she ended their relationship compared to Kristen's version of events.
“I lent him a lot of money and sold the house for free. And he lived in my house for six months without dollars,” Alex said. “It doesn't matter 1711532562.”
The hits kept coming when Jax's wife, Brittany Cartwright, told Kristen that Luke would meet Alex while they were enjoying their girls' night out. Brittany, 35, seemed surprised by Kristen's strong reaction to the idea of Luke and Alex being in the same room.
“Come on, fuck it, Brittany. I don't want my ex boyfriends to be around me or my damn family. What is so difficult for everyone to understand? -Kristen asked. “None of you lived with him. None of you went out with him. “I don't want him near me.”
Brittany only made the argument worse when she suggested that Luke shouldn't be at the group event since Jax has known Alex longer.
“Did you just say that Alex should be there more than Luke?” Kristen noted before elaborating on her frustrations in a confessional. “Alex and I started dating when I was still on Vanderpump Rules. Months later when everything essentially crashed and burned. [in 2020], Alex put me down and made me feel very small. She thought I was some kind of loser, a former reality star. “It's not something you want to hear from your boyfriend.”
Kristen defended Jax and called his actions “malicious,” prompting Brittany to accuse her of “stirring up s**t.”
Five minutes later, Kristen claimed they had told her something. Zack Wickham That was not mentioned on screen yet. Zack was trying to convince Michelle Lally who never shared any information with Kristen. The episode ended with a look at Kristen's discussion with the group, which included Nia Booko becoming visibly moved by the mysterious claims.
